Una surreale “pocket orchestra” capace di affrontare qualsiasi linguaggio musicale. Nata a Torino, la Bandakadabra vanta una frenetica attività live che l’ha portata a esibirsi in tutta Europa e a guadagnarsi una crescente attenzione da parte degli appassionati.

La band svedese è specializzata nel New Orleans hot jazz, con una spolverata di Swing. La loro musica si concentra sull’autenticità dei contenuti e sulla perfetta esecuzione, in modo da offrire al pubblico una musica il più possibile simile alla vera essenza del jazz suonato dai giganti del genere come Louis Armstrong, Bix Beiderbecke, Muggsy Spanier, Sidney Bechet, Duke Ellington, etc.
I loro concerti si rivolgono principalmente alla comunità Lindy Hop per la quale girano il mondo. I ballerini li adorano per la loro energia, presenza scenica e sensibilità alle esigenze della danza.

Born in Turin, Bandakadabra boasts a feverish live-events activity, which brought them to perform across all of Europe and to gain a growing attention from their fans. From Paleo Festival to Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, passing through Jazz Sous Les Pommiers, Durham Brass Festival, Spancir Fest, and many others.

Armed with drumsticks instead of knuckle dusters and trombones instead of tommy guns these deranged masterminds spread mayhem, joy, and decadence wherever they go.
